Very Important Pets is a family-owned pet services company founded in 2001 by Louise, a Qualified Veterinary Nurse (QVN).

Originally from New Zealand, Louise moved to the UK in 1995 to study. She soon realised how desperate pet owners were for trained, reliable and trustworthy professionals to care for their pets in and out of the home.

Louise built a team of trained veterinary nurses and very experienced animal carers who provide an outstanding range of professional pet services for you and your pets. And that’s what makes us different from other pet service companies: we only use veterinary-qualified staff or very experienced pet owners.

All our carers have extensive experience looking after all types of pets, and you can leave your pet with us knowing they are in safe and loving hands. Our pet sitters are fully insured.

We are an award-winning service, vet accredited and come highly recommended by many veterinary practices. The Very Important Pets office is based in Wimbledon, SW19, London.

I couldn’t have felt more reassured and at ease leaving my miniature dachshund with Lucy and her little boy, Rafe, for my first holiday without him! I was having trouble finding anywhere to board my dog as he’s not yet neutered and doesn’t always get along with other dogs, so coming across VIPs finally gave me a solution as they offer individual dog boarding with experienced pet sitters.
