Returns & Refunds Policy

We hope you are satisfied with your order, but if you need to return an item, we are here to assist you.

Please note that orders that have been dispatched (Which Can be within an hour sometimes) cannot be revoked. In this situation, please wait to receive the order and then follow our returns process below.

We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have up to 30 days to return the unused goods in their original condition and packaging.

To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must be in the same condition as when you received them, unopened and unused, with all tags and in their original packaging.

To initiate a return, please contact us at hello@veryimportantpets.shop. Please note that all shipping fees for returning an order are the buyer’s responsibility.

If your return is accepted, we’ll give you instructions via email on how and where to send your package. Items returned to us without prior request will not be accepted. We recommend using a recorded delivery service when returning your item(s) to us, as we are not liable for any loss or damage that may occur during transit.

Measurements

Measure twice, purchase once. We highly recommend measuring your pet and using our size guides before purchase to ensure you find the correct size. If you need any assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact our friendly team at hello@veryimportantpets.shop. We will be more than happy to assist you.

It’s helpful to include:

  • Your Dog’s breed
  • Age (so we know if they’re a puppy or fully grown)
  • Measurements at the points stated on the product size guide

Damages, faults and incorrect item issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as raw food), custom products (such as special orders or personalised items), and personal pet care goods (such as pet beauty products). Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns about your item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. As per our returns policy, please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the item. If the order falls outside our free shipping terms (e.g., under £49), shipping fees may be added to the new order.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund has been approved. You’ll be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 3-8 business days if your application is approved. You will be refunded the original price paid for the goods in question, including any original delivery charges you may have incurred. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
