How to Use
ALWAYS FULLY READ THE PRODUCT LABEL BEFORE USE. Using the scoop provided, add Beaphar Lactol Milk Replacer for Puppies to warm water (42°C; allow boiled water to cool before use), then stir until completely dissolved. Allow to cool until lukewarm (38°C or blood temperature) before feeding. The use of proper feeding equipment is highly recommended, such as the Beaphar Feeding Set or Beaphar Feeding Syringes. These should always be clean and sterile.

*After the 28th day, slowly change to a more solid diet, i.e. puppy food. Beaphar Lactol Milk Replacer for Puppies can be used to assist weaning. Mix prepared Beaphar Lactol Milk Replacer for Puppies with a small amount of puppy food, gradually decreasing the milk volume and increasing the solid food each day. Prepared Beaphar Lactol can be refrigerated for 24 hours, but should be reheated to 38°C or blood temperature before feeding to young animals. Always keep fresh drinking water available.

COMPLETE DIET: For unweaned puppies, it is important to weigh them daily so you can compare their daily growth rate with the growth tables from your breeder or vet. Recommended dilution: Using the scoop provided, add 31g (7 level scoops) to 100ml warm water (42°C). 1 litre of prepared Beaphar Lactol Puppy Milk contains approximately 1250 kcal. Use the table below for approximate feeding guidelines. The daily volume MUST be split across the recommended number of feeds.

Complimentary feeding (in addition to their regular food): For puppies below 8 weeks, Beaphar Lactol Milk Replacer for Puppies can be given as a complementary feed, in addition to their mother’s milk. Recommended volume = up to 40ml per kg. Weaned puppies over 8 weeks, adult dogs during pregnancy or lactation, sick or convalescent: Recommended volume to feed = 11ml per kg.
