This Veterinary Specification, CEREAL-GRAIN-FREE, super premium dry dog food contains 60% chicken, along with added vegetables and herbs. It is a fully balanced diet suitable for puppies and junior dogs from four weeks of age. The formula includes prebiotics that help maintain a healthy gut, particularly for dogs with sensitive stomachs. Additionally, it is wheat-gluten-free and contains no artificial colours, preservatives, or flavours.

Technical Focus
Minerals: Minerals are inorganic elements, e.g. calcium and phosphorus, which are essential for the body’s metabolic processes. Only about 4% of a dogs total body weight comprises of mineral matter; however, like the vitamins the presence of these elements in dog food is essential for life. Not only do they provide skeletal support but they are also involved in a whole array of essential functions like nerve transmission and muscle function. To make matters even more complicated, each mineral interrelates with the others in terms of absorption, metabolism, and function. When puppies and young dogs are growing rapidly, it is, therefore, absolutely essential that this bal ance of minerals is correct for early bone and tissue development and organ function.
